Per la prima volta un gruppo di ricerca dell’Università di Trento ha catturato, in una visione combinata, l’interazione dinamica che sostiene l’attività cognitiva complessa. E ha analizzato il processo grazie a neurotecnologie avanzate. Un delicato sistema di comunicazione che alterna stabilità e flessibilità delle connessioni cerebrali per permetterci di svolgere compiti esecutivi. Prime lezioni al via all’Università di Trento in questi giorni per oltre 3300 studenti e studentesse. Nei vari dipartimenti dell’Ateneo in programma momenti di accoglienza per dare loro tutte le informazioni per vivere e studiare a Trento e per andare all’estero. Insieme a chi varca le porte dell’università per la prima volta, rientro graduale in aula anche per gli altri, circa 13mila studentesse e studenti dell’Ateneo.

For the first time, researchers have observed the brain activity of bees while they sleep. A study conducted at the University of Trento expands our knowledge of the evolution of sleep. The results open a new way to understand how environmental stress, pesticides and climate change can affect the health of bees and their ability to pollinate. The findings may also provide the foundations for future research into human sleep and memory disorders
